After a long search for a cool-climate vineyard to source the Pinot Noir of their dreams, they encountered Mariah Vineyards. ENA works with vineyards farmed under sustainable, organic and/or regenerative principles. Their winemaking is an assertive rather than obstructive approach towards nature.

The irony of fate led to their encounter in 2010, in Margaret River, Western Australia, where they were individually making wine–and have been winemaking together ever since. Their passion for wine and viticulture took them around the world, experiencing cultures, discovering winemaking techniques and winegrowing practices. In 2014, they settled in Northern California. After a long search for a cool-climate vineyard to source the Pinot Noir of their dreams, they encountered Mariah Vineyards, which rests above the fog line in Mendocino, and ENA was founded in 2019.
Conscious of the environment, ENA works with vineyards farmed under sustainable, organic and/or regenerative principles. To reduce waste and carbon footprint, they use lightweight bottles with no capsules. Their winemaking, in a nutshell, is an assertive rather than obstructive approach towards nature. Decisions are based on improving the expression of the vineyard, rather than pushing wines towards a style. With minimal intervention, they ferment with native yeasts and carefully select barrels to respect the fruits.
You will enjoy a private lunch and vertical tasting of ENA wines at Mariah Vineyards, located at the highest elevation of the Mendocino Ridge.
