Lot 9: Bullseye, Smash to Your Heart’s Content!
Have some rage or aggression to release? Or simply want to have a memorable outing with friends? Then this all-inclusive and fully organized experience is for you.
At the end of tonight’s Soirée du Vin, the wine bottles you see in front of you will be packaged up and saved for your smashing venture.
The excursion begins with you and five friends at AxeVentures in San Jose. Inspired by Viking warriors and Canadian lumberjacks, indoor axe throwing is the latest viral sensation. To put it into perspective, think of this game as similar to darts. Just replace the darts in your hand with crisp, heavy axes.
You'll learn basic throwing techniques from expert coaches and, after just 15 minutes of training, each individual will have the opportunity to hurl a hatchet at the target to see which person gets closer. Bullseye!
After everyone is finished heaving sharpened lumber at the wall, absolve your stress next door at Smash City Rage Rooms. Suit up using the safety equipment provided, and, with a baseball bat, golf club, or hammer, smash your way through the room filled with empty wine bottles, glassware, and old electronics.
Smash rooms, also known as rage rooms, started in 2008 in Japan and are now catching fire in the United States. The concept of smash rooms is to release life's frustrations through physical activity and destroying various objects. You heard us! Simply place the item in front of you, grab a sledgehammer, and swing as hard as you can. Tap into your primal and wildly adventurous self and relinquish any strenuous and burdensome feelings. You’ll leave feeling both de-stressed and rejuvenated!
Once everyone is tired out and ready to eat some delicious food, head over to The Table, an urban neighborhood restaurant located in Willow Glen to relax, unwind, and enjoy a wine and cocktail paired meal. The Table serves upscale contemporary American cuisine that reflects the culture and background of Silicon Valley.
Food dishes range from pasta, delectable meats such as lamb, duck, and pork, as well as a variety of different seafood plates. As for drinks, The Table crafts their own juices, syrups, and purees for their array of cocktails and wines.
If you’re looking to plan something unique for an upcoming birthday party or the next outing with friends, this package is the perfect opportunity to connect with the ones you love. Celebrate the unforgettable moments in life with fine dining, physical exercise, and friendly competition.
