#28: Robin’s Magic Touch

Robin Menlo Park, a contemporary local Omakase restaurant, is celebrating its first anniversary this fall and they are inviting you to discover or revisit their culinary magic: Chef Adam Tortosa will craft an exhilarating dinner experience for you. No menu ever at Robin, but the promise of delicious sushi in every bite, enhanced with an array of textures and unexpected flavor combinations.

Robin takes pride in curating local ingredients whenever possible, sourcing halibut and black cod from Californian fishermen, locally-grown produce, and amazing wasabi from Half Moon Bay.
The dinner will be a sake-paired experience of up to 18 dishes, showcasing Chef Tortosa's creativity. Past offerings have included Wagyu beef tartare adorned with Asian pear and pickled shallots, topped with Uni and floating on seaweed chips; Black snapper belly with black peppercorn and caramelized onion purée; Hamachi crudo; and shaved foie gras sprinkled on A5 Japanese beef. Chef Tortosa’s creativity is the limit!

The laid-back atmosphere and flavorful offerings will create a memorable and fun dining experience for you and your guest. The modern sanctuary of the black-and-wood dining room, with personalized decor, will be a retreat to unwind and focus on delighting your eyes and palate.
