The Richard Dinner Vineyard was planted in 1994 with an heirloom selection of Old Wente Clone Chardonnay. Its legendary “Block 4” is widely regarded as one of California’s Grand Cru sites. Located high on the slopes of Sonoma Mountain and facing the Sonoma Valley, this hillside block is bordered by native oak forest. Its gnarled, weathered vines produce low-yield, high-concentration fruit with excellent natural acidity and nuanced, sun-kissed flavors.
